Why I Teach
When I reflect on my childhood dreams of becoming an actor, I remember teachers and mentors who supported me. I have a deep love for this craft and enjoy expanding my skill set. I've discovered a passion for sharing these tools with others, helping artists make authentic acting choices and navigate the industry. My experience interning in casting offices has given me valuable insights into the acting world, as well as how to successfully navigate both the theater and on-camera scenes in Chicago.
Teaching Experience
I have a diverse range of teaching experience, working with students from age 5 to adulthood. I served as the head of the Acting Department at Stacy D School of Music, where I directed plays and provided individual coaching , created workshops and classes. My experience also includes teaching for CYT and assisting with the Youth Summer Camp at West Side Improv. Furthermore, I directed School House Rock at Oriole Park Elementary, wrote and directed a Christmas show for Magical Keys, and led an afterschool acting program for Saint Petronille.
